This conceptual visual Identity was created for the artist Shakey Graves, an Americana and Indie musician. The objective was to design a new album cover, along with supporting materials including merchandise, tour posters, and digital marketing assets. His music has a deeply authentic feel, which I wanted to capture in the design. To reflect this, I focused on creating visuals that felt just as genuine. I chose to work with oil pastels to produce hand-drawn illustrations, embracing the textured, imperfect qualities of the medium. This traditional, hands-on approach echoes the organic nature of Shakey Graves’ sound, bringing a sense of warmth and authenticity to the overall visual identity.
